ODIM MVP30-350™

- Moving Vessel Profiler
MVP30-350(tm) shown with optional A-frame
The newest member of the ODIM MVP™ family, the ODIM MVP30-350™, was designed in response to clients who required deeper water column data collection than the standard MVP30™ could provide, but whom also could not accommodate the increased deck space required by the larger Moving Vessel Profiler systems. The manually-operated overboarding A-frame (as seen above -- optional) and sheave is incorporated into the MVP30-350 base and allows compact storage while not in use.

Since the MVP30™ series is electrically-driven, the requirement for a hydraulic power source (typically an HPU) is eliminated.

The MVP30-350™ is capable of profiling to a depth of 160 metres while the vessel is traveling at 5 knots. On station, the MVP30-350 can perform casts as deep as 350 metres. For more information, please contact ODIM Brooke Ocean.
